Rose Cottage is situated in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty less than a mile from the pretty village of Matfield. This beautifully converted holiday retreat offers modern accommodation in a tranquil and picturesque setting with excellent walking and access to cycle routes.
The interior boasts
a central spiral staircase leading to a stunning mezzanine
sleeping area with low level king size bed and sloping ceilings.
The spacious well equipped kitchen leads to the main living and dining room with ‘L’ shaped settee/sofa bed, shower room with double shower cubicle, heated towel rail, toilet and wash basin.
The front of the cottage has its own courtyard parking for 2 cars and to the rear is a private patio with garden furniture and barbeque.
A
short walk (about half a mile) across our own fields will bring
you to Matfield Village with its pubs, restaurant, shop and post
office. The traditional village green is a relaxing place to
spend a summer afternoon watching the cricket.
The location is excellent for visiting the many attractions in Kent and Sussex. Only 5 miles from Royal Tunbridge Wells and 3 miles to Paddock Wood mainline station with fast trains to London (45 mins) and Ashford for Channel Tunnel.

Arrival from 3pm, departure 10am. One well behaved dog is welcome.
